WAGET and its partner Pro-Squared participated October 18, 2017 in Launch Wisconsin at Lambeau Field in an entrepreneurship event called Launch Wisconsin. WAGET president Jeff Smoller moderated a session with former Green Bay Packer star Na’il Diggs entitled The Potential Role of Professional Athletes in entrepreneurship and economic engagement. Both talked about the project of using sports, starting with basketball, to bridge and build Wisconsin youth. The Fox Valley and Green Bay are one of four pilot project sites. Others are Milwaukee, Madison and Beloit.
