WAGET sponsored a Bridge and Build proof of concept boot camp at the UW-Milwaukee School of Public Health, Concordia University and Lakeshore Chinooks for 27 high school youth from Milwaukee, Madison, Neenah and Beloit. The test was if sports could be a “hook” in bridging relationships and building life skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and leadership. Landmark Properties donated lodging at Eleven 25 @ Pabst and Liberty Consulting and Management donated financial services. UW-Madison evaluated. Asset Builders of America was a partner.
